Zoya Surani, b.A. | research Intern

Zoya is an undergraduate at Harvard College pursuing an A.B. in Neuroscience on the Mind, Brain, and Behavior track with a secondary in Educational Studies. She is interested in the intersection between these two fields, specifically in how differences in early environments can lead to changes in neural development and educational outcomes later in life. Zoya's senior honors thesis will work with data from the Bangladesh Early Adversity Neuroimaging study to understand the relationship between psychosocial measures of adversity and performance and fMRI activation during an executive functioning task.
