Open Positions

The Gaab Lab works at the intersection of neuroscience, education, EdTech, and policy. We focus on typical/atypical learning trajectories with a special focus on language and reading development and the role of the environment in shaping these trajectories. We are seeking:

  • Multiple full-time Summer Research Interns

  • Multiple per diem Psychoeducational Evaluators

Summer Research Interns will gain experience in data collection, data entry and processing, and participant recruitment. Data collection will include observing behavioral testing and assisting with scanning young children in an MRI scanner.

The summer research internship is a full-time role, but part-time availability may also be considered. Availability to work over the weekend or in the evenings occasionally is required, as is the ability to work in person at the lab facility in Cambridge, MA.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, careful, self-motivated, and interested in our lab's work, and have a background in neuroscience, psychology, linguistics, education, computer science, or another related field.

Currently, this is an unpaid position, but the student may be eligible to earn course credits. We are also happy to help with applying for grants or stipends through your university.

To apply, please email gaablab@gse.harvard.edu with your resume and a short description of why you’re interested in the position.
