Megan Loh, M.A. | PH.D. STUDENT
Megan is a Ph.D. student at HGSE who is interested in how reading and brain trajectories develop between children with and without a family history of reading difficulties. She is also interested in the relationship between emotions and language development in young children, and how parental involvement moderate these factors. She graduated with her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020, with a double major in Neurobiology and Psychology. Before joining the lab, she completed her MA at the University of Chicago, and did her MA thesis with Dr Howard Nusbaum focusing on the role of wisdom and social support in promoting resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic. Outside the lab, she enjoys lifting weights and baking bread.
