Dr. Nadine Gaab presents, Solving the Dyslexia Paradox: The Importance of Brain Development, Early Identification, and Intervention.
The CDE Diagnostic Center, Central CA, is pleased to announce the first of their three Dyslexia Forum presentations for the 2021-2022 school year! This year's Dyslexia Forums will be held Oct. 1st, 2021; Jan. 28th 2022; and April 29th, 2022.
Join us Oct. 1st as we collaborate with Focus on Unity in Education (FOU-E) to kick off "Dyslexia Awareness" month and welcome Nadine Gaab, PhD, Associate Professor of Education at Harvard University. Dr. Gaab will share current information on medical, cognitive, language and literacy development for ages 0 - 5, including disability identification and early intervention. Diagnostic Center staff will also share California events for Dyslexia Awareness month, new resources, and strategies for ages 0 -5.

The Diagnostic Center, Central CA has provided assessment and workshops regarding language and literacy disabilities for over 35 years. DCC Dyslexia Forums are regularly scheduled "low to no cost" avenues for educators, parents, and community members to access research and share innovations related to dyslexia, literacy instruction and intervention.
